Overview

Buddhas Tree Coco A&B is a premium two-part feed, containing all essential elements needed for a plant to thrive in coco substrate.

This base nutrient is perfect for those growing only in coco, as it has been formulated with just this substrate in mind to give a more specialised product. It contains all the basic components required for optimal growth within coco, including chelated nutrients to allow easier nutrient absorption and uptake.

Buddhas Tree Coco A&B can be used for both grow and bloom cycles, meaning it’s simple to use and there’s no hassle with adding any other nutrients throughout the grow.

Usage:

Use 2-4ml per litre of water.

With your reservoir filled with water, add equal amounts of Coco Part A and Part B to the tank one at a time, stirring the solution after adding each one. Do not mix A and B directly in their concentrated forms before adding to the tank.

This two-part nutrient base is designed to be used in equal measures for each part. Using unequal amounts can results in an unbalanced solution, thus not giving your plants the optimal nutrients.

Once required strength is achieved, add any boosters/additives you are using and mix well.

The Science

Coco A-B hydroponic nutrient from Buddhas Tree, that is extremely easy to use at virtually any stage of growth. Begin from after they have been potted into their first pot, use Buddhas Tree Coco A-B at around the half strength rate. This means using 2ml of part A and 2ml of part B for every Litre of your total nutrient solution. As your plants grow, you need to gently increase this up to the maximum rate of 4ml per Litre when your plant is growing at its most vigorous. Increase the dose gently throughout its lifecycle to avoid any unwanted nutrient shock to the plant’s roots.

Cation Exchange – As the strength of the nutrient solution is increased throughout the growth cycle and up to its maximum during the flowering cycle, the rate of potassium release increases in the substrate as the overall EC rises. When higher EC levels are reached during the flowering period, high levels of potassium are released naturally into the available nutrient solution, meaning that simply by watering with the correct strength of nutrients, you are creating the ideal flowering feed inside the substrate itself.

Nutrient Ratios – The base nutrient salts used in Buddhas Tree have been carefully selected and formulated in a way to ensure that no nutrient will out-compete another within the solution. Availability of one nutrient is directly related to the amount of another present in the solution. Buddhas Tree perfectly compensates for this, ensuring that both macronutrients (such as Nitrogen, Phosphorous etc) are available, as well as crucial micronutrients (like Iron, Magnesium etc). Nutrient management has never been so easy.

pH Balanced – As mentioned, certain elements need to be chelated to protect them from reacting and becoming unavailable to the plant. The chelate forms a protective layer around the element. Chelates come in many forms, being suitable for different pH ranges. The chelates used in Buddhas Tree Coco A-B mean all the elements are available over a wide range of pH levels and require minimal energy from the plant to release.
