- High levels of NPK nutrients
- Increases disease resistance levels
- Less prone to pest attack
- Creates strong vegetative growth
Evoponic Magi-Cal is added with base nutrients to enable plants to grow strong and healthy plants during the vegetative stage. It will strengthen your plant, make it more hardy to disease and less likely to be attacked by grow room pests. In periods of rapid growth and flower product plants will often suffer deficiencies in both calcium and magnesium. This Magi-Cal will correct those deficiencies and ensure you have a hardy plant throughout its lifecycle.
Application rates for all substrates: 0.5ml to 1ml per litre.
Use throughout vegetative stage and weeks 1-5 of flowering stage.
Should be used in combination with other EvoPonic products.
Calcium and magnesium are considered to be the top two of three secondary nutrients plants need for healthy development. If plants do not receive an adequate amount of calcium, they can suffer from stunted growth, malformations, and brown foliage spotting. Magnesium deficiencies cause yellowing leaves and severely stunted growth. Without sufficient magnesium, plants cannot successfully photosynthesis sunlight and produce chlorophyll for green foliage.
Cal-mag nutrient deficiencies arise for a variety of reasons in the garden but two of the primary causes are high humidity and elevated temperatures. In hydroponics, plants are especially susceptible to calcium and magnesium deficiencies, the amount of which depends on the quality of the water supply, and the amounts of these nutrients that a grower’s chosen base nutrients contain.
Once a cal-mag supplement is applied to the plant, the plant will immediately start to absorb the nutrients into its root system, where they will spread upward and outward to the foliage. These supplements can also be foliar sprayed.
Evoponics Nutrient Range
The new range from Evoponic is unique. First of all; the Pure Science products conform fully to The EC Fertilisers (England and Wales) Regulations 2006 unlike the vast majority of domestic hydroponic products retailed in the UK. Secondly; the nutrient declarations on the Pure Science labels are accurate, again unlike the vast majority of products retailed in the UK. Thirdly; the Evoponic Pure Science nutrients will generate much higher TDS/EC/Brix levels than conventional nutrients, and there is a very good reason for this:
Evoponic Pure Science products contain not just the NPK and trace elements, but the formulations also include materials that are biostimulant actives having anti-stress properties and containing an array of other biologically active materials, plant growth and photosynthetic intermediates which combine synergistically to enhance flowering and fruiting.
“Easy nutrient range to use, good results”
“Great end result, was apprehensive to use nut glad i did now””
“Best on the market made by top scientists”
Since 2001 in the UK, Micromix Plant Health Ltd have been designing, developing and manufacturing a variety of hydroponic plant nutrients and biostimulants on behalf of the various marketing companies who have sold those products successfully under their own brands in the UK and in many countries overseas. Micromix sells speciality plant micronutrients and biostimulants in 18 countries around the world in various crops from peas to pistachios and to markets from Kent to Korea. It is a member of the British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association and the Garden Industries Manufacturers Association. It has a reputation for developing cutting edge plant health products using unique formulation technologies to generate improved returns for growers in many markets. The synthesis, formulation and production operation is based on a 6 acre site at Langar near Nottingham in the UK. From here some 8000 tons of specialist liquids, suspensions and soluble plant nutrients were shipped in 2009 together with over 2000 tons of other agricultural products.
Pure Science – Growing for the Future
Evoponic Ltd is the new Micromix subsidiary specifically supplying the hydroponic market. Every bit of specialist knowledge, technology and experience that the key chemists, plant pathologists, biologists and plant nutritionists at Micromix have accumulated over the last 24 years will all be focused on producing the new Evoponic range.
Micromix have some new product developments in the pipeline that are as yet untested but have considerable technical merits and are capable of generating exceptional responses in higher-value crops like salad crops, cut flowers and fruit. These will become part of the Evoponic product offer in due course.
