Helps plants achieve their full potential! SUPERthrive is an amazing non-toxic plant vitamin supplement that has long been known by gardening experts as the world’s #1 plant food. This nutrient additive is NOT a fertilizer and should be combined with fertilizers to stimulate amazing results. Used by growers for decades… Why? Because it helps everything grow better!
May be combined with fertilizers for ease of application. Extremely concentrated.
For gardens: use at the rate of one drop per gallon, or 3 oz per 100 gallons of water.
For hydroponics: add at the rate of 2-3 oz per 100 gallons, or 1-2 tsp per 10 gallons, each time you change or add new water to the nutrient solution.
May also be applied as a foliar spray to promote vigorous roots, healthy plants and abundant blooms in ALL plants. See product label for specific instructions.
Conversions: 1 Teaspoon = 5mL | 1 Tablespoon = 15 mL | 1 Ounce = 30mL | 1 Cup = 240 mL
Superthrive is a vitamin-hormone liquid concentrate, containing .09% vitamin B1 and .048% of the hormone 1-Napthyl acetic acid (NAA). It does not contain any NPK macro-nutrient fertiliser. It should be used as an additive alongside a normal fertilisation program with other plant nutrient products, and not as a standalone fertilisation product.
It works directly on the roots to encourage robust and healthy plant growth and to revive plants that have had a hard time, but Superthrive is also commonly used to reduce the stress caused after plants are transplanted.
Since it is non-toxic, it is safe to use on all edible plants and many growers also use it as a foliar spray to give their plants an extra boost (spray on the underside of leaves for the best results). It is designed for use throughout the entire plant growth cycle and studies have shown it to be effective in both the vegetative and productive flowering/fruiting stages.
“I admit it: I am a firm believer in Superthrive. When I got my dormant strawberry plants in the mail, I did a Superthrive root soak. The information sheet that came with plants that I can expect growth in 6 to 8 weeks. After planting them in my hanging patio planter, I had new growth in four days and strawberry blossoms within a week! I water the plants daily with a combination of things in my watering can: two drops of Superthrive, 1 teaspoon of plant food, one spritz of organic household cleaner, and 2 gallons of water. The household cleaner breaks water surface tension, allowing the roots to more easily absorb the nutrients. Now you have my secret! At any rate, I credit Superthrive with the success. Highly recommended!”
“I put a teaspoon into a normal household bucket-full of water and pour it around the base of the trees/shurbs and then water it in with a good drip/root soak. Been doing this every 10 days with this stuff since they were newly planted several months ago. Years back a nursery planted my palms with Vitamin B and they poured in so much Vit B that it burned some trees and killed one palm. So I never wanted to use Vit B after that. A great local nursery recommended this and so far it’s been working amazingly.”
“This is a magical solution for plants. I have used this for several years and my potted plants have always showed great health and vigor. I use this all Spring, Summer and Fall on my plants that are outside every two weeks at a concentration of about 10 mls per gallon of water. There is no smell so I use it all winter on my indoor plants. I one time asked a horticulturist about it and he told me that he had no idea what it was but he bet that if he soaked a pine 2 x 4 board in it for a week and stuck it in the ground, a pine tree would grow :)“

Sustainability – A Goal Worth Pursuing
We champion efforts to spread the word about sustainable soils and innovative methods of growing. Recent years of drought in the southwest have inspired profound techniques drawn from ancient times and contemporary minds. Before “Going Green” was a catch-phrase, Superthrive was a player in sustainability. Dr John incorporated this philosophy into his work and educated people about healthy living. His 2009 Lifetime Environmental Awareness Award from the non-profit organization, Sustainable Environmental Education, is another example of his dedication and recognition.
